Mariah Carey, 50, has issues a withering put down of her ex-fiancé James Packer – claiming their relationship “didn’t matter”.
The vocal powerhouse couldn’t resist hitting out at her ex during promotion of her new memoir The Meaning Of Mariah Carey.
The book covers many personal aspects of Mariah’s life during her time on the spotlight, though fails to mention her relationship with Packer.
The duo were together for 18 months and eventually became engaged.
In typically blunt style, Mariah said: “If it was a relationship that mattered, it’s in the book. If not, it didn’t occur.”
She added to The Guardian: “We didn’t have a physical relationship, to be honest with you.”

Mariah Carey hints James Packer engagement was sexless saying it “wasn’t a physical relationship”.
Carey and Packer first started dating in 2015 before becoming engaged just nine months later.
Writing in his own memoir in 2018, Packer branded their relationship toxic.
Writing in The Price Of Fortune: The Untold Story Of Being James Packer, the businessman said: “Wherever we went we were on the top table and that was because of her, not me.

“She was kind and she took an interest in my life.”
However, he said by the time they went their separate ways the relationship had “become toxic”.
While Mariah has glossed over her time with Packer, she’s candidly opened up about her relationship with baseball player Derek Jeter.
The superstar wrote: “Everything was so new and sweet, down to the smooth texture of his honey-dipped skin.
“It was how it was supposed to feel.”
Not stopping there, she went on to reveal he was the “second person I had ever slept with”.
Mariah wrote: “Just like his position on the team, our relationship was a short stop in my life.
“It was a very critical transition for me, and maybe a dream come true, or maybe an accomplishment, for him. I don’t know.
“Very soon we weren’t meant for the long run. For one, there’s a great gulf between athletes and artists, and honestly it’s hard for two stars from any industry to make it work.”
