Former Hear’Say star Myleene Klass recently took a first aid class which came in handy just one day later when a fellow tube passenger collapsed in front of the radio presenter.
Myleene uploaded snaps to her Instagram account on Friday during the class which took place at her home and was attended by friends and family – led by St John’s Ambulance.
Sharing the news with her 316,000 followers, Myleene said: “Never had a reaction to my stories like I’ve received in the past few hours. So many of my own friends have contacted me signing up for courses.
“Have put the videos on my highlights. Please watch. Many of you feel they’ve helped refresh your memory or even just kick-started you.”

The former songstress went on to add: “Also, so many messages of people choking and being saved by family members (I can’t believe how heroic some peoples partners and mothers have been) and many frightened they don’t know what to do if it happened (sic).
“@stjohn_ambulance, you are amazing. My girls have been bandaging each other up all weekend! This is not a campaign or an ad, my mum was a nurse my BF’s dad is a Dr (tbh, a Professor, we’re in good hands!) so we feel we have to keep on top of this as we know the importance of it all AND my children are terrifyingly susceptible to choking.”
Following on from this, Myleene shared a text from her daughter Ava explaining what had happened while on the Tube.

In the clip, Ava said: “Well a lady fainted on the train and was really hot and so they asked for medical assistance so momma went out.
“It’s perfect timing, we just did a first aid course.”
The lady in question later appeared to be ok.
