Piers Morgan was back to his old tricks on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.
Piers, 55, was back on our screens alongside co-host Susanna Reid, 49 but things didn’t go quite to plan.
Viewers were informed of some chaos going on in the ITV studio after Piers told those watching they’d spotted a mouse during one of the commercial breaks.
The outspoken presenter saw it as an opportunity to make a dig a BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker, who he has taken aim at on multiple occasions.
Piers asked his GMB colleagues if they thought they should name the lurking rodent after him.

After returning from an advertisement break, he said: “In breaking news, there’s a mouse on the studio floor.
“There have been shrieks and wails – a lot of drama here in the commercial break.”
He added: “It is under one of the cameras, we just don’t know now which one, Ranvir you’re terrified of mice?”
His co-star replied: “Yeah, I don’t like mice… I had one in my house once.”

Weather presenter Laura Tobin chimed in, saying: “I was looking down and then I saw something move and I was just like ‘Aaaah!'”.
Susanna added: “We’ll bring you right up to date, we’re across that story and we have the full surveillance team on the mouse and its whereabouts.”
However, as the situation continued, Piers couldn’t help but take aim at BBC rival Dan Walker, asking his co-stars: “Shall we name it Dan Walker?”
Piers put on a squeaky voice and appeared to mock the BBC host further.

He added: “Ooooh don’t be measly to me, don’t be measly to me, give me some cheese and milk.”
Later on, meteorologist Laura provided viewers with another update on her Twitter profile and posted a video of the mouse.
In view of her 161,000 followers, the star captioned the clip: “The tiny @GMB mouse is now off to @thismorning.”

In September, Piers trolled BBC Breakfast star Dan over being jobless.
Piers, 55, said: “The BBC crashed to its lowest ratings of the year on the same day.”
“We beat them at moments of the programme.
“If you want to see what affect this has had, this is what Dan Walker – who apparently is still presenting it – this is his selfie this morning.”
“If the ratings desecrated and the opposition had their record ratings, that is what you would tweet,” Piers said.
“Poor guy,” Piers sarcastically said, before adding: “He looks miserable.”
Addressing Dan directly, he said: “If you do lose your job over the ratings – and it can’t be long, sadly – if you do… god forbid you do because it needs you there…
“If you do, you won’t be able to work at AJ’s Unisex Salons unless you start to chirp up a bit! You’ve got to perk up a bit!”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
