Pregnant YouTuber Nicole Thea dies aged 24 along with unborn son

YouTube star Nicole Thea has died at the age of 24, as well as her unborn child she had called Reign, her family confirmed in a heartfelt statement on Instagram.

The social media superstar’s family confirmed the tragic news on Instagram with her 107,000 followers.

They wrote in a statement: “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.

“Also Nicole pre-scheduled a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.

Nicole documented her pregnancy on Instagram and was eight months pregnant in June

“As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.

“Thank you, her mum. RIP my beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”

One of the scheduled videos went live on her YouTube channel, which has more than 73,000 subscribers, at around 5pm today (Sunday).

It is titled “Got in a bath full of milk! BTS pregnancy shoot.”

The comments section has been switched off, however it has already been viewed more than 27,000 times by heartbroken fans.

Influencer Chanel Ambrose wrote on the sad Instagram post: “Nicole, I would always love you. I’m so sorry baby. I’m so sorry.”

Musician Juls Baby commented: “Love you forever.”

And Love Island star Priscilla Anyabu left a string of broken heart emojis.

Nicole leaves behind her partner Global Boga, real name Jeffery Frimpong, who is a fellow dancer, part of Ghana Boyz.

The duo met at a dance rehearsal, with Boga saying Nicole “came in like an angel”.

Meanwhile, she said that she “knew that [he] was the one” when they first started speaking.
