Nicole Thea’s relatives confirmed earlier this week that the online content creator had died just weeks before she was due to give birth.
The 24-year-old was pregnant with her first son who she and partner Global Boga, 20, whose real name is Jeffery Frimpong, named Reign.
Throughout her pregnancy, Nicole had been documenting her journey with her 123,000 Instagram followers and her 99,200 YouTube subscribers.
While details of her cause of death remain unclear, Metro.co.uk reported that Nicole did not die during childbirth.
Nicole’s mum took to her daughter’s Instagram grid on Sunday to share the heartbreaking news of Nicole and Reign’s passing.
In an emotional statement, she said: “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.
“Also Nicole pre-scheduled a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.
“As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.
“Thank you her mum RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”
One of Nicole’s scheduled videos which went live that evening shows the social media star posing in a bathtub of milk for a behind-the-scenes pregnancy photoshoot.

In one video, Nicole stated that she was having a “good pregnancy” while praising Boga for remaining calm throughout the journey.
Just one day before Nicole’s death, her partner Boga shared a video to his Instagram page pushing a pram saying: “I can’t wait to be taking my son to the parks & playground.”
Nicole was known to many for her dancing career, sharing hip hop inspired routines, as well as her, make up tutorials and confessional time videos.
