Prince Harry is taking film-making classes after being inspired by Oscar winning director Ron Howard, according to reports.
The Duke of Sussex is thought to have signed up for a web-based production course.
It comes after he and wife Meghan Markle signed a deal with Netflix worth £112million to make TV series, films and children’s shows.
The Prince reportedly sees Howard, who is responsible for hit films such as Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code and Rush, as a “role model”.
Ron, 66 won two Oscars for the movie A Beautiful Mind, made the move from acting to directing after featuring in US sitcom Happy Days.

A source said Harry has been doing courses, with his most recent one a five-day ‘creative producing lab’.
The source told The Mirror: “There is talk of Ron Howard being someone to emulate. It would prove to his family and the world he’s not going to sit back and sponge off his name.
“Harry wants to work and is willing to do that from the bottom up. He also doesn’t want to be in Meghan’s shadow either.

“He is in a very creative headspace and is determined to work as hard as he can.”
Howard met Harry’s mum Princess Diana met at a premier of Apollo 13.
He is said to have described The People’s Princess as “remarkable”.
Harry intends to use his new filmmaking skills in “documentary filmmaking and navigating truth and ethics”, his pals say.

Meghan and Harry are said to be just months away from dropping their first project on Netflix.
The couple, who sensationally ditched the royal family claiming they were hoping for a life out of the spotlight, confirmed they inked a mega-deal with the streaming giant last month.
Now royal expert Rachel Bowie says she believes the former TV actress and her husband will release their first project in 2021.
Speaking on Royally Obsessed podcast, Bowie said: “They’re probably busy working because sources last week revealed that one of the Sussexes’ Netflix shows will air as soon as 2021.
“We could have one of their Netflix shows in less than a year. It was Omid Scobie who said that on his HeirPod podcast.
“Their whole deal is only five years long.
“So we are going to get a whole lot of Sussex content really quickly.”
Harry and Meghan’s representatives have been contacted by Daily Star Online for comment.
