Rolf Harris, 90, seen walking his dog six years after sex offences conviction

Rolf Harris has been seen for the first time since turning 90 during the coronavirus lockdown, as he was photographed walking his dog near his home.

The disgraced TV presenter could be seen using a wooden cane to help himself along, while wearing an outfit comprising of sandals, a checkered shirt, a fleece vest, and faded trousers on the walk.

Made from a stretch of a whittled branch, it appeared as though his walking stick had been handmade.

Harris took to the tree-lined roads near his home in Bray, Berkshire for the walk, joined by his black-and-white spotted dog.

With white hair and a matching white beard, he looked visibly older in the rare appearance, having celebrated his 90th birthday on March 31.

The Australian TV personality returned to the English county in 2017 after serving three years in prison for a number of historical sexual offences.

He was convicted in 2014, sentenced to time behind bars for twelve counts of indecent assault on four females during the 70s and 80s.

While Harris was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison, he was released on licence in May of 2017.

After his conviction, Harris was stripped of a number of accolades, with his CBE – which had been appointed in 2006 – removed.

Born in Australia, he became a successful TV personality in the UK in the 60s, and later went on to present the popular factual entertainment series Animal Hospital.

Running for a decade, the BBC show shone a light on animal welfare stories in RSPCA hospitals across the country.

Harris was also known as a musician, with his rendition of Two Little Boys reaching number one in the UK charts in 1969.

However, Harris’ 2014 conviction effectively ended his career, and he has rarely been seen in public since his release from prison.
