Actress Millie Bobby Brown is no stranger to supporting beneficial causes and she has once again proven this by making generous donations to local hospitals.
The Stranger Things star has donated £5,000 each to Bournemouth Hospital Charity, Salisbury Hospital Charity and Southampton Hospitals Charity.
Her donations are to help support NHS staff who are fighting the coronavirus pandemic on the frontline and risking their lives.
Millie, 16, has lived in Bournemouth with her family for four years.
Speaking of her donations, she said: “Britain’s NHS workers – and all carers – are an inspiration to us all and are the nation’s heroes.

“I am in awe of every one of them and just wanted to thank those risking their lives – particularly in hospitals on the South coast.
“The area is very dear to me and my family and I cannot wait to visit again soon. Keep up the brilliant work and stay safe. Thank you. You are all amazing.”
Her generous donations will be used to fund multiple items including personal care packages, tablets to ensure staff and patients can connect with loved ones at home, wellness rooms and also ensuring there is access to psychological support lines.

Debbie Anderson, head of charity for Bournemouth Hospital Charity, said: “We are committed to supporting the mental and physical wellbeing of our staff at this time,
“Thanks to the generous donations we have already received we have already purchased health and wellbeing books, toiletries, refreshments, and whiteboards to communicate with patients and other staff members when wearing PPE.”
Britain remains in lockdown as medical staff continue to fight the virus but many have speculated that the lockdown could soon be eased as the death toll continues to decrease.
Millie is best known for playing Eleven in Netflix sci-fi drama Stranger Things and will next appear in the films Godzilla vs Kong and Enola Holmes.
