The Chase host Bradley Walsh was royally stitched up by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly on tonight’s Saturday Night Takeaway finale.
Ant and Dec snuck into the ITV studios while Bradley was recording a session of The Chase, planting a few surprises one along the way.
At one stage, the troublesome duo convinced Chaser Jenny Ryan to get a contestant’s name wrong, mistaking “Joanna” for “Hannah”.
Walking out into the studio, The Vixen announced: “Hometown Hannah!”
When Bradley pointed out the name mix-up, Jenny insisted it was because she liked to “alliterate”.
Losing his temper, Bradley snapped: “I know you like to alliterate and so do I, so f*** off and do it again.”
Things got even more heated when the contestants managed to bring £200,000 back to the final round – in a series first.
Starting to panic, Bradley went backstage and asked the crew whether the contestants were scamming him.
He asked: “Is she scamming us? Was she scamming us?”
Little did he know, but Ant and Dec were backstage reading the correct quiz answers into an ear piece.
Things came to a climax when the set exploded in front of him, with sparks flying out of the machinery.
Suddenly, Ant and Dec appeared in the studio – breaking the news the episode had been an elaborate hoax.

Luckily, Bradley took the news well, as he grabbed the two presenters into a hug.
Over on Twitter, SNT viewers were left in stitches over the set-up, and praised Ant and Dec for their pranking chops.
One said: “Pranking Bradley Walsh again. Sooo funny. Thanks for helping us to think of something other than the current crisis for a little while. #saturdaynighttakeaway.”

A second agreed: “Fantastic show tonight. Ant and Dec you rock. Bradley Walsh hilarious.”
While a third chimed: “Absolutely loved #SaturdayNightTakeaway tonight, absolutely howling at them winding up Bradley Walsh.”
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway continues next Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
