The Wanted star Tom Parker has reached out to fans for the first time since he revealed he has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.
The Walks Like Rihanna singer thanked fans for their “overwhelming” support in an emotional Instagram post on Monday night.
Logging into his official Instagram account, Tom, 32, wrote: “We truly are overwhelmed with everyone’s love, support and positivity.
“We have had so many people reach out with positive stories and it’s been incredible.
“Thank you to @ok_mag for their exclusive interview with us and being so understanding.
“We are fighting this- thanks to everyone behind us fighting alongside us. Let’s do this.”

Speaking to OK! mag, dad-of-one Tom revealed how Doctors have told him his grade four glioblastoma is the “the worst case scenario”.
Heartbreakingly, Tom’s wife Kelsey is pregnant with their second child.
Tom said: “I’m still in complete shock, it’s so much to take in.
“I knew something wasn’t right, but I never expected it to be this. You never think this will happen to you.”

Kelsey added: “We have to stay positive.
“The prognosis is based on much older people, as this usually affects those 50-plus.
“Tom is a young, otherwise fit and healthy guy and he has a much better chance of fighting this and benefiting from some of the new treatments out there.”
Breaking the news on social media before their magazine chat was published, Tom and his wife said: “Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why.
“There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a brain tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.
“We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.”
The message continued: “We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.
“It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this.”
