YouTube star Kailum O’Connor died earlier this week, and tributes from his fans have been flooding in since his untimely passing.
The 21-year-old, known across TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube, won over the hearts of his viewers with his energetic personality, and loveable comedy sketches.
The social media influencer was born and grew up in Cork but recently moved with his family to Ballynahinch in Co Down, just south of Belfast.
A search had begun after he had been reported missing on 1 June – and he was found dead at his family home just hours later.

Following the news of Kailum’s death, his cousin David Lowrey posted an emotional tribute on Facebook.
He wrote: “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Please please speak out If you’re ever feeling low.
“You won’t be a burden or a melt. We all have our demons. Let’s start helping each other through them. Even if we don’t talk I’m here for you.
“Head up everyone well all get through this. Love you all and keep in mind I’m here day or night. And remember this pain is temporary. if you go you’re gone forever. “

Kailum rose to fame after a video of him dancing to a Nicki Minaj song gained more than 10 million views on Facebook.
Well-known on social media platforms, he had over 325,000 followers across his various channels.
Emotional tributes have been pouring in for Kailum on social media.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “Rest in peace Kailum O’Connor. This is absolutely heartbreaking he was one of the funniest people I’ve ever come across on the internet, you truly never do know what’s going on behind closed doors.”
“Kailum O’Connor was my favourite person to watch when I needed a good laugh over the years, in disbelief hearing the awful news – you never know what someone else is going through. Be kind, always,” another posted.
Kailum is survived by his parents Sharon and Mark, step-father Barry and younger siblings Kodie and Krystal.
Due to social distancing restrictions, his wake and funeral will be private.
