Felix Silla who played Cousin Itt on the original 1960s Addam’s Family TV show has died aged 84.
The 3’11” actor died on Friday (April 17) reportedly from pancreatic cancer which he had been battling.
The character of Cousin Itt was famed for being completely covered in hair with only a pair of feet showing and speaking in mumbles.
Gil Gerard, Felix’s co-star on the old NBC series “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century,” announced the sad news.
According to TMZ, Gil said he’s sad to see his friend lose his cancer battle, but says he’s glad Felix is no longer suffering.
In a Tweet, Gerard wrote: “Felix died just a few hours ago and the only good I can draw from his passing is that he didn’t suffer any longer. I will miss him terribly, especially the great time we had at our panels. Just him telling me to ,” go ‘ f ‘ myself””
As well as Cousin Itt, Felix Silla was known for playing Buck Rogers’ robot sidekick Twiki and an Ewok in “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi”
As well as an actor Felix was an accomplished stuntman and showed off his skills in a number of well-known films.
Felix did stunt work on E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Batman Returns and Poltergeist.
He also appeared in the original Planet of the Apes and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
News of Felix’s death was expected after it was announced earlier today that he was going into a hospice.

Felix was born in a small village called Roccacasale in Italy on January 11, 1937, and moved to the US in 1955.
When he arrived in America he was a trained circus performer. His skills included bareback horse riding, trapeze, and tumbling – all of which helped him break into Hollywood.
Silla was 84 and is survived by his wife of more than 55 years, Sue, and their children, Bonnie and Michael.
