Good Morning Britain fans were left pleading with Adil Ray to “stop shouting” during an interview on Tuesday’s show, as tensions started to rise in the studio.
Adil and his co-presenter Ranvir Singh were joined by guests Dominique Samuels and Nick Hewer on the show for a discussion about vaccines.
Student and commentator Dominique argued it was unfair to “unfriend” someone based on their decision to refuse a vaccine.
Nick, who is Lord Sugar’s advisor on The Apprentice, argued to the contrary, suggesting it would be dangerous to spend time with someone who is unvaccinated.
Things kicked off when Adil and Dominique failed to see eye to eye, with voices starting to raise.
Adil posed a hypothetical situation where a person would invite a friend to lunch who hadn’t been vaccinated, arguing they could be potentially putting someone else’s life at risk.
“I don’t think you need to be psychotic and try and control other people’s life choices,” Dominique said.
Adil started speaking over her, asking: “Hang on! Dominique, I’m sorry.
“Dominique, you can’t just be extreme. Nothing I’ve said there is psychotic. What on earth is psychotic about caring for people around you, how does that make me psychotic?”
“It’s not caring, it’s malevolent, it’s psychotic, it’s controlling. Some people may not want to be vaccinated…” Dominique started, only for Adil to reply: “It’s not controlling!”
A fiery debate ensued, but over on Twitter, viewers weren’t impressed by Adil’s raised voice, as they asked the presenter to “stop shouting” and let his guest speak.

“Why is Adil shouting?” wondered one fan, and a second agreed: “Stop shouting Adil ffs.”
A third penned: “You know what I miss? Presenters who ask a question then actually let them answer rather than shouting over each other like children.”
“Why are they shouting ffs,” weighed in a fourth.
