BAFTA TV Awards 2021 hottest red carpet looks – from Billie Piper to Oti Mabuse

Faces from the most exciting shows from the small screen over the past year or so took to the red carpet in preparation for one of the year’s biggest awards ceremonies.

From the stars of Strictly Come Dancing, to Normal People and Small Axe – which looked set to win the most gongs at the BAFTA TV Awards on the evening – all the UK’s household names were present.

The show began on BBC One live from 7pm in a two-hour-long broadcast, with a long list of stars all lined up for awards.

But as the celebs waited to hear their fate, here are the best looks that dazzled on the red carpet.

Oti Mabuse

Strictly Come Dancing judge and Masked Dancer panelist Oti Mabuse beamed whilst she oozed glamour as she arrived at the BAFTA TV Awards.

The television favourite was seen with her hair styled into a chic shorter bob-style.

She opted for a long white strapless flowing gown, which made for a busty display.

The look was finished with a thigh split in the centre, showing off her incredible legs.

Billie Piper

The former Doctor Who companion was in the running to take home one of the top awards of the evening, having been shortlisted for Best Actress.

Billie – who starred in Sky’s I Hate Suzie – appeared on the shortlist alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones, Hayley Squires, Jodie Comer, Letitia Wright and Michaela Coel.

She wowed on the red carpet in an asymmetric black and pink sequin number with a puffed sleeve on one side.

Billie’s hair was styled into a half-up half-down look and it was completed with cascading waves, which were pulled to one side.

Stacey Dooley

Stacey will act as one of the coveted show’s hosts this evening alongside radio star Vick Hope at Television Centre.

The documentary maker and Strictly winner had her signature ginger hair pulled back in loose, effortless curls.

She wowed in a tiny black satin dress, with puffed-up sleeves as she smiled away on the red carpet to the cameras.

The outfit showcased her impressive figure, with bandeau style detail on the top flowing into a tight mini skirt.

Jessica Plummer

Former EastEnders star Jessica Plummer joined the handful of soap stars who presented in person at the awards on Sunday evening.

Jessica displayed her incredible figure in a very short ruffled silver metallic mini skirt with a matching vest top.

She kept her hair natural to show off her stunning curls and completed her stunning look with silver high heels.

The star stuck her tongue out in a cheeky pose to the camera as she arrived on Sunday night.

Michaela Coel

The I May Destroy You creator and star stunned those in person and on social media as she stepped out in front of the cameras.

The actress – who was nominated in the Best Actress category – wore a gorgeous black flowing gown with red detailing on the sleeves.

The backless dress also had a peek-a-boo cutout in the bodice, showcasing Michaela’s amazing figure.

She accessorised with chunky statement jewellery.

Vick Hope

Vick was also at the front-and-centre of tonight’s awards show as she hosted alongside Stacey Dooley.

The Radio 1 star dazzled as she kept her look more stripped back but stylish in a stunning black floor-length satin slip dress.

The gown featured some added plaited detail on the bust and Vick opted for some classic silver heels.

Her tresses looked gorgeous in braids as she added some simple gold jewellery to finish off her outfit.

AJ Odudu

The much-loved TV presenter no doubt produced one of the most show-stopping looks of the night.

Her red feathered backless gown was paired up with white stilettos for the memorable outfit choice.

AJ’s hair was pushed back behind her ears in a sleek shorter bob, with gold hoops and a chic necklace to go alongside her statement dress.

The daring ensemble also let her showcase her amazing legs as she got ready for the exciting night ahead.
