Many viewers will remember the hit children’s TV show Balamory which aired in the early noughties and followed the lives of four colourful characters in a fictional town off the west coast of Scotland.
And one of the beloved characters Spencer, played by Rodd Christensen, stole the hearts of children nationwide as he decorated the rainbow village on the hit CBeebies show.
The 54-year-old American was known for his famous musical ladder with each step playing a different note as he joyfully decorated the streets of Scotland on the BBC show.
But what readers may not know is that actor Rodd is father to his well-known adult star and part-time model daughter Raylin Joy who has made a name for herself in Los Angeles.

The provocative actress usually goes by her stage name Skin Diamond and has featured in Penthouse magazine throughout her career since the pair made the move back to the States after Balamory came to an end in 2005.
The 34-year-old actress was living in Scotland when she shot her first adult industry scenes and admitted that she got into nude modelling and adult filming for “giggles” while she studied in college.
Speaking at the time, she revealed: “I was in college studying acting and I wanted to get into modelling. When I got into the adult industry it was for giggles.
“I had dyed my hair pink and I got tattoos. I was doing nude modelling and I went to a fetish club for the first time and loved it.
“I then had the opportunity to go to Paris to shoot my first scenes and I fell in love with it,” she concluded.

When she looked back on her childhood, Raylin explained how she believed her religious upbringing pushed her into her porn star career.
On her personal blog, the adult performer wrote: “I’m from a religious background. My dad was in the ministry and he travelled a lot preaching.
“My upbringing was pretty strict. Sex was always this big thing I wasn’t supposed to pay any attention to.
“But what happens when you tell a child not to do something? It makes it more intriguing. I couldn’t wait.”

But the brunette beauty has always had the full support of her father Rodd who returned to the US years later and is living in Las Vegas with Raylin’s mother.
The star revealed: “Throughout my career, my parents have been very supportive and loving. I want to be the voice for following your dreams.”
Now, the raven-haired vixen hopes to put her adult film days behind her as the up-and-coming star has dreams of becoming the next big pop sensation.

When asked what made her want to leave the adult industry and start over as a singer, Raylin admitted that she wants to show another side of herself to her fanbase.
She said: “I’ve given so much of my sexuality to the public for such a long time. Now it’s time to show them something else.
“I studied acting and performance at Lauder College in Dunfermline and that’s when I started dabbling with music.
“I think music is more challenging and demanding. I feel far shyer about my music. Your body will age but I am taking a piece of my soul with these songs and putting it out there to be judged.”
