Shephard’s ITV career began back in 2000 when he joined weekday morning show GMTV.

He was the programme’s entertainment presenter before bagging the role of co-host on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays.

Ben reportedly had a salary of £300,000 for the role in 2009.

Aside from this, Ben has hosted numerous other ITV shows.

He presenter three seasons of X Factor spin-off The Xtra Factor and was a Daybreak host for four years.

Ben was then made a regular Good Morning Britain host when the show replaced Daybreak in 2014.

In 2019, he became the presenter of Rugby X on ITV.

Towards the start of his career, Ben worked on BBC shows including EastEnders Revealed, DanceX and the National Lottery show 1 vs. 100.

His career started while working for Channel 4 in 1998 and later began co-hosting the channel’s spin-off show The Bigger Breakfast.
