Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden has lost her wedding ring in a devastatingly awkward moment for the married couple.
The admission came when the 45-year-old was forced to address why she wasn’t wearing it in one of her latest Instagram snaps.
Enjoying a day in the April sunshine down in Brighton – one of the nearest beaches to the couple’s home in East Sussex – Celia posed holding a giant hot dog.
“When Mr Sizzles on Brighton Pier asks if ‘you want the normal or the XXL?’ there’s only ever going to be one answer,” the author captioned her post.
Yet fans instantly noticed that the star wasn’t wearing her wedding ring on her left ring finger – which was clearly on show in the shot.
“Wedding ring?” one shocked fan asked. “Hot dog looks ace.”
“I can’t actually find it,” Celia then replied, urging her followers not to tell her husband.
The fan thought the awkward twist was hilarious and shared encouragement that the band would be found eventually.

Meanwhile, former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers cheekily replied to the post: “Why go for an XXL Pier Mr Sizzles when you’ve got an XXXL Piers Mr Sizzles at home??!”
Seemingly a coincidence, Celia’s next post happened to show her husband’s wedding ring nice and safe on his hand.
Snapping herself and Piers in the back of a taxi, it appeared the ITV star was placing his hand over her leg.

“I only went and married one #handsyhubby #haveyousanitised,” she then joked.
Always one to get the last laugh, Piers then teased: “That’s not my hand.”
