Chris Pearson dead: Ex on the Beach star dies aged 25 after LA stabbing

Ex on the Beach star Chris Pearson has died following a stabbing incident, TMZ has reported.

The reality star, who was one of the first contestants on the MTV show Ex on the Beach, died over the weekend.

Multiple friends and law enforcement confirmed the news following the incident in LA’s San Fernando Valley around 2am. An altercation occurred which resulted in a fatal stabbing.

Chris, 25, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died around 3:30am.

A fundraiser has since been launched for Chris’ family as his loved-ones shared tribute to him through the post.

The friend said that Chris had died following a “tragic encounter”, adding that he “loved with his whole heart”.

He was described as the “most determined person there could ever be”, adding: “He had a dream, set a goal and didn’t stop until he achieved that goal.

“It didn’t matter what or who he lost on the way, he made sure he had his eye on one thing and one thing only.”

They added: “His smile lit up an entire room”.

The fundraiser asked for people to donate to help his mother and the family with funeral expenses, which currently has a $30,000 target, and within the hour has raised $1,700.

The professional DJ appeared on the first series of Ex on the Beach in the US, which aired in 2018.

Surrounded by all sorts of former reality stars from the US, Chris was one of the few who didn’t have any previous experience on TV.

Chris was an original member, taking part in 11 episodes of the series.

Messages have flooded through online, while tributes on his Instagram have also been shared, including one from MTV’s Taylor Selfridge who shared a string of emojis before adding: “This is heartbreaking.”

Another simply wrote: “RIP.”

A third person added: “I’ll never forget you brother. You’ll forever have a place in my heart.”

Chris was building his budding music career prior to his untimely death, he had received an influx of support from his 17,000 followers on Instagram.

He had recently released new tracks and was spreading the word about his music, while celebrating his success and happiness of his work.
