Beth Tinker certainly gave Coronation Street fans a barrel of laughs as she talked openly about her partner’s Kirk Sutherland’s “little donkey” during the latest episode.
The pair regularly provide comic relief and plenty of laughs as one of the most hilarious soap couples in memory.
While in the factory, the underwear seamstress complained to her colleagues that she was unable to get any sleep the night before due to Kirk’s “singing in bed”.
But Kirk’s choice of Christmas song that he sings while asleep certainly left Corrie fans in stitches as they rushed to Twitter to share their amusement.
One fan wrote: “Haha Kirk’s little donkey!”
Another said: “Not sure which conjures up the worst image. Being woken by Kirk’s little donkey, or getting pine needles out of Sally’s welcome matt.”
A third joked: “Beth says kirks got a little donkey.”
While another disgusted fan added: “Please Beth – we don’t want to know what Kirk gets up to with his little donkey – TMI!”
Actress Lisa George who plays the hilarious Beth has been in and out of the soap this year but after being inundated with messages from fans she took to her social media platform to update her followers on her whereabouts.
She penned: “Filming done and now catching up on fan Mail and scripts.
“Apologies to all those who have sent me letters and not had a response yet… I’m working through them… thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to write , it is much appreciated. I shall respond as soon as I can.
“All the best for now.”
Elsewhere on Monday night’s episode, Emma Brooker appeared to be getting closer to the truth regarding her partner Curtis Delamere.
After discovering that Curtis had left his medication behind, Emma was panicked.
But things became even worse when Tyrone Dobb’s daughter Ruby swallowed one of Curtis’ pills.
When Emma rushed Ruby to the hospital she was shocked to find out that Ruby had swallowed a vitamin and she was completely fine.
What will she do now that she’s discovered her fiance’s dirty secret?
