Coronation Street fans were left emotional after Seb Franklin’s gift from the grave for his mum Abi Webster was revealed, with her husband Kevin putting things in to place.
Earlier this week, fans watched as Kevin (Michael Le Vell) discovered a mysterious letter in Seb’s belongings that were at his old home before he died.
In Christmas Eve’s episode, it was finally revealed what was in the letter, when Abi (Sally Carman) was reunited with her twins Charlie and Lexi, who had been adopted.
The youngsters have been living in Australia with their adoptive parents, however Kevin had discovered through a letter in Seb’s belongings that they’d be back in the UK for Christmas.
When Kevin brought them in to see Abi she broke down in tears, over come with emotion as she was reunited with two of her kids, when she’d never see her eldest again.
And viewers were touched by Seb’s final present to his mum, after his tragic death earlier in the year.
One person tweeted: “Seb surprising Abi with seeing the twins. He was such a beautiful soul who is missed so much.”
A second said: “Seb’s last gift to Abi from beyond the grave was so beautiful,” adding a heartbroken and crying emoji.
Someone else wrote: “Abi’s got Seb’s Christmas present.”
While a fourth added: “OMG Abi, what a totally incredible Christmas gift seriously. Actually getting to see her previous twins again and it’s all down to Seb.”
That wasn’t all though, as the twins’ adoptive dad told Abi he’d drop them round the next day – Christmas Day – to see her too.
Abi couldn’t believe it, saying that she’d never need another present again if she got to see her kids on Christmas Day.
Speaking to her new husband about Seb, Abi said: “Even in death he comes up trumps.”
As Kev said: “The gift that keeps on giving.”
