Imran Habeeb has been going through the wringer on Coronation Street recently, after his foster daughter Kelly Neelan was found guilty of murder.
And it wouldn’t be a stretch to say the stress has pushed him to extreme levels, after he was glimpsed heading into a taxi with his ex-wife Sabeen on the night of the verdict.
But now, fans are certain Imran’s activities have only dug him into a deeper hole – as they reckon Sabeen could actually be pregnant with Imran’s baby after the shock affair twist.
It comes after Sabeen tried to blackmail Imran into working with her on drug lord Harvey’s appeal, threatening to tell his partner Toyah about his disappearance on the night of the court case.
Taking to Twitter, a legion of eagle-eyed fans took turns to air their own predictions about Sabeen as Kelly’s sentencing approached, and Imran’s ex stopped to chat to him at the courthouse.
“Imagine if Sabeen was pregnant with Imran’s baby!” one wrote with a row of shocked-face emojis.
Someone else quickly followed up in reference to Sabeen’s conversation with her ex: “And I’m pregnant!”
Other fans were fuming at Sabeen’s meddling, as they root for Toyah and Imran’s relationship to succeed.
“Imran sleeping with his ex who got his foster daughter sent down for a crime she didn’t commit is the most out of character thing they’ve had him do so far!” one grumbled.
Imran also leapt to Sabeen’s defence against Toyah, after she wondered if she was there for Kelly’s case.
“She’s here for another case,” the lawyer explained. “Not even she is psychotic enough to gloat over a child going to prison.”
He added: “Still banging on about me working on that other case though, literally the worst idea ever!”
Things only got worse for Imran, as Kelly was sentenced to a whopping life sentence in prison – with a minimum of 15 years served in prison.
He and foster mum Toyah were frantic that her mental health struggles will get worse, after she tried to take her own life after receiving a guilty verdict.
