Rebekah Vardy, 38, delivered one of the better-scored routines during Sunday’s launch of Dancing on Ice.
The TV personality wowed the ITV studio audience with her lifts and turns and she seemed thrilled with her performance as the energetic skate came to an end.
But when presenter Holly Willoughby, 39, spoke to the contestant’s husband, pro footballer Jamie Vardy, at home, he couldn’t seem to muster much enthusiasm.
Viewers noticed the father-of-three’s lacklustre approach straight away, and were incredibly unimpressed.

Taking to Twitter in their droves, one began: “Lockdown has turned me into someone watching Dancing On Ice but all I can think is what a miserable git Jamie Vardy was. If he was my old man I’d have been embarrassed by that and determined to stay in show as long as I could!”
“Hope there was a time delay when Dancing On Ice went live to Jamie Vardy. Otherwise he is going to be in trouble. Wake up Jamie!” another cried.
A third joked: “Jamie Vardy definitely didn’t watch that dance he’s watching the football in the other room and popped in to be on TV.”
While a fourth blasted: “Jamie Vardy couldn’t have shown more support and enthusiasm if he tried.”
Others wondered if the sportsman had known in advance he would be on live TV.
“Did Jamie Vardy know they were going to him… zero joy there!” one person commented.
Another noted: “Jamie Vardy going OTT with the support and enthusiasm there.”
“Hahaha Jamie Vardy, Captain Enthusiastic there!” a third laughed in shock.
However, some commented that doting dad Jamie clearly had his hands full looking after five kids.
One joked: “Jamie Vardy sitting with 5 kids looking grumpy when asked how he thinks his wife has performed on Dancing on Ice! Don’t think I’d like to be looking after 5 kids while my missus is prancing around an ice rink with another geezer.”
Rebekah managed to get some of the highest scores of the night with her professional skate partner Andy Buchanan.
Andy told presenters Holly and Phil he didn’t even mind that the contestant had accidentally cut him with her skate during rehearsals.
The professional insisted it was fantastic to have been partnered with Rebekah because she really wanted to push herself and enjoyed the challenge.
