Wendy died at the age of 77 on Thursday afternoon after she was diagnosed with pneumonia, according to MailOnline.
A source close to the family told the publication: “The girls are completely devastated.
“They were very close with their Nan and her passing has come as a complete shock to the family.”
It’s reported that Billie and Sam have taken time out from filming the next series of their ITV show The Mummy Diaries to give them time to grieve.

Years ago, just as TOWIE was starting to soar in popularity, Sam, who featured on the show with her sister Billie, begged bosses to include their gran.
“We are begging for a series in Marbella and I have told them that if they go they are getting Nanny Wendy in it,” she said at the time.
“People love those relationships on TOWIE and did see that with the Wright family, who also had their mad nan. I’ve got nanny Wendy, who lives in Marbella and has short red hair.
“She is mad, wears Juicy tracksuits, has a little Shih Tzu and drives around Marbella in a convertible. She is in her sixties and nuts!”
Billie is scheduled to perform on Dancing on Ice on Sunday for the second time, after Myleene Klass was the first celebrity to be eliminated.
However Denise Van Outen also left the competition, dropping out after a nasty shoulder injury.
Daily Star has contacted a rep for Dancing on Ice for comment.
