Colin Jackson has revealed an epic transformation on social media as he filmed the Dancing on Ice behind the scenes’ antics.
The 54-year-old former athlete, who is descending onto the ice for the DOI finale this weekend, took to social media in an attempt to cheer up his followers.
In the sped-up clip that Colin shared with his 19,700 Instagram followers, Colin nibbled on snacks as a hairdresser rallied around him.
In the clip, a masked hair stylist appeared to attach lots of fake hair to give Colin a striking new look.
“Hope this puts a smile on faces, it still does with me #hairstyles#hair#dancingonice,” Colin penned alongside the video.
Fans were also able to catch a glimpse of fellow contestant Faye Brookes in the background who was also getting glammed up for the show.

“Ye also see Faye as well in the background I’m dying,” added a second.
A third wrote: “I’m a hairdresser…but I would not know where to start with this.”

It has been quite the eventful series of Dancing on Ice, as it has been rocked by a string of injuries as well as two cases of Covid-19.
In the past few weeks, five celebrities and two professional skaters have had to drop out of the show.
Among the stars that were forced to leave was Denise Van Outen, Billie Shepherd, Jason Donovan, Joe-Warren Plant and Rufus Hound.
As a result, the show skipped a weekend and then also brought the final forward to this weekend.
