Dancing On Ice couple Joe-Warren Plant and his skating partner Vanessa Bauer could return to the ice rink if they receive a negative coronavirus test, according to reports.
It’s reported that if their test comes back negative and they are able to get in enough training, they could be skating their way through to next Sunday’s live show.
The news comes after bosses opted to halt the upcoming live show in order to allow skaters to recuperate following a string of axes and injuries.
Pro skater Hamish Gaman became the latest star to walk away, announcing his departure on Tuesday.

The Sun reports that Joe, 18 and Vanessa, 24, could be allowed to return as they have only missed one live show due to testing positive for coronavirus. With the show not airing this week, reports claim the couple could return when the show comes back at the end of February if they have a negative test in that time period.
Dancing On Ice rules state that each contestant can only have one bye from the public vote, meaning they can officially only miss one episode.
A source told the publication: “It does feel like one rule for them and another for everybody else.

“It feels like nothing is going to get in the way of Joe and Vanessa winning this year’s show, they might as well get the trophy now.
“Two weeks ago they changed the rules to say that a positive test meant you were out for good. That’s why Rufus was given the boot and told he could not return, now apparently it doesn’t.”
Rufus Hound and The Only Way Is Essex star, Billie Shepherd were forced to leave the competition after facing one bye each from the public vote and were unable to return the following week.

Meanwhile, West End actress Denise Van Outen withdrew after sustaining injuries and is still in recovery.
Jason Donovan, 52, is also recuperating after sustaining an injury to his back but remains a vital part of the programme.
This year, due to the sheer amount of celebrities who have had to withdraw from the show, bosses have also used the reserve contestants, Amy Tinkler and Matt Richardson who were both evicted by the public.
The live competition will not air this weekend (Sunday, February 21) with the live competition set to resume later this month.
In place of Dancing On Ice, ITV will air a special entitled Dancing On Ice: The Greatest Show On Ice, looking back at the series’ glittering history, which dates back to 2006.
The one-off special is set to highlight some of Dancing On Ice’s most memorable moments, with 13 seasons to choose from.
Dancing On Ice: The Greatest Show On Ice will air on ITV at 6pm on Sunday.
