The alleged incident took place on July 31 last year, where it is said that Jarvis shouted at a group of four women outside the Papillon pub before assaulting them.

It is further claimed that she shouted abuse at a man waiting for a takeaway on Pier Hill later the evening and that after being denied entry into a seafront hotel, became aggressive and shouted threats to a member of staff, before slapping an 11-year-old girl.

Prosecutor Ashley Petchey told the court: “This concerns Miss Jarvis who has come to Southend-on-Sea.

“Over the course of three hours, she has committed racially aggravated offences on a number of different people.”

He added that Jarvis was alleged to have shouted “Black Lives don’t matter anyway” and “I’m a celebrity”.

Tahmine Majid, representing Jarvis, and told the court that she intended to plead not guilty to the charges as she was the victim who was acting in self-defence.

She said: “She is a victim abused and attacked and that she acted in self-defence in relation to all the charges.”

The District Judge ordered the case to be sent to Basildon Crown Court to be heard on May 13 this year and Jarvis was released on bail.

Judge Timothy King told Jarvis: “You must attend Basildon Crown Court on May 13 and you are required to tell the court if you will plead guilty or not guilty.”
