EastEnders actress Milly Zero has claimed she was “pushed” and “threatened” by police as she attended a vigil for Sarah Everard last night.
Milly, who plays Dotty Cotton in the hit BBC soap, was amongst the crowd when scenes turned ugly in South London as police dragged people away from the candle-lit shrine.
Many mourners had gathered to pay their respects to murdered Sarah, whose body was found on Friday.
Sarah’s death has prompted an outpouring of grief from the public, with many women and girls sharing stories online of experiencing violence by men.
But shocking images emerged of women being pinned to the floor and being arrested in angry scenes for not dispersing because of Covid regulations.

In a post to her 57.2k Instagram followers, 21-year-old Milly wrote: “We were peacefully protesting in solidarity for a women that was murdered by a police officer.
“We were then physically pushed aside and threatened by….the police.”
Police have said they used force because they deemed it was necessary enforcement because they deemed it was necessary.
Milly’s post included a collage of four striking images.
One was of The Bandstand in Clapham Common where the vigil took place, one was of a hundreds of bunches of flowers and another was a young girl holding a cardboard sign in the air which read “Women’s rights are human rights”.

But the most shocking of all the images was of a big group of police officer in high-vis jackets in amongst the crowd.
Mourners shouted “shame on you” at police officers as they were also seen ripping women off metal railings.
Mily posted another image which showed a sea of flowers by The Bandstand with the caption: “You may shoot me with your words, you may cut me with your eyes, you may kill me with your hatefulness.
“But still, like air, I rise. Maya Angelou,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

Milly’s shocking revelations come after armed cop Wayne Couzens was charged with Sarah’s kidnap and murder on Friday night.
He appeared in court on Saturday where it was said Sarah’s body was discovered in a builder’s bag in Ashford, Kent.
