Ex-Corrie star Ryan Thomas floors fans after becoming burger delivery driver

Ex Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas delighted takeaway lovers as he pulled up in his swanky Rolls Royce to hand over the food.

The 36-year-old visited his brother’s restaurant The Spinn to collect his own burger and somehow found himself caught up in the delivery process.

Taking to social media to groan about being roped in to help with the distribution, he told fans: “I came in for a burger and now I’m doing deliveries.”

Ryan, who was better known as Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles for 16-years, filmed himself getting into his Rolls-Royce to take goods to the people of Manchester.

In one snippet he rocked up to quite a grand house to which he was greeted by a customer whose jaw hit the floor when she recognised the actor.

While on the job, but during his downtime, he also documented himself catching up on his favourite TV programme, The Chase, from inside his costly vehicle.

He explained: “I’m just waiting outside The Spinn to pick up my next delivery. Make the call, you know you want to.

“I might be coming to a home near you.”

The burger eatery is a joint venture which is owned by Ryan’s brother and former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and his close chum Scott Graham.

In September 2019, Adam and Scott decided to fulfill their dream of owning a restaurant, with the pair going into business together.

However, just a few months later the Covid-19 pandemic struck, leaving the co-owners with no other option but to take up delivery duties themselves in a bid to keep costs at a minimum.

Speaking to customers, Adam said: “All of our staff from our chefs to our drivers…

“I say drivers, it will be myself and my business partner Scott Graham will take the utmost care in handling your deliveries.”
