Giovanni Pernice ‘s friends believe the professional dancer could propose to girlfriend Maura Higgins relatively soon, as he described the Love Island babe as “the one”.
The Strictly Come Dancing star who is currently paired with EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis in this year’s competition had his pals speculating after he admitted that he feels “love struck”.
Giovanni, 31, has reportedly confessed that he has never felt this way about anyone before, according to a source.
Speaking to The Sun about their relationship, an insider claimed: “He has fallen for Maura incredibly quickly and right now she comes before everything else in his life.”

The source continued: “He is still putting the hours in on Strictly but once that’s done he is happiest spending as much time as possible with Maura.
“None of his mates have seen him like this before and Maura, who is always in and around set, has become really close to Giovanni’s friends as well.”
The source also said Giovanni has expressed that he wants to be with Maura, 30, forever.
Both Maura and Giovanni have had a fairly publicised relationship history.

After appearing on Love Island in 2019 and coming runner up with dancer Curtis Pritchard, Maura later moved on to Chris Hughes, but their relationship sadly ended not long after.
In May, Maura took to Instagram to reveal she had split from Chris. She wrote: “It breaks my heart to even type this.
“But I wanted to let everyone know that myself and Chris have made the joint decision to end our relationship.
“There is no wrong doing on either side. We still love, care and respect each other deeply from the minute we met each other we’ve been very close friends and that will never change.

Meanwhile dancer Giovanni was previously in a relationship with former Pussycat Doll and radio host Ashley Roberts, whom he met on the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
To show her support to her beau ahead of Saturday’s show, brunette bombshell Maura shared a picture on her socials of herself and Giovanni staring lovingly at each other, while the dancer leaned in for a kiss.
She captioned the pic: “Moments @pernicegiovann1.”
“Best moments,” Giovanni replied.
Fans certainly love this pairing – and it looks like the couple are more loved up than ever.
