Hollyoaks child abuser Pete Buchanan returns and Sienna finds Summer's diary

Hollyoaks child abuser Pete Buchanan (Kai Owen) makes a shock return to the village next week and comes face to face with his victim Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin).

Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) sets himself on the mission of tracking down Cleo’s abuser after finding it difficult to process some heartbreaking information about his girlfriend.

However, it’s not long before Cleo discovers what Toby’s up to and she fears that Pete may have returned to the village.

She confides in Toby’s sister Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ai) about her concerns and it’s later revealed that Pete is watching Cleo from afar. What has brought him back to the village?

Toby confronts his childhood demons as he attempts to protect Cleo from hers and she eventually comes face to face with evil Pete.

Cleo is left shocked by how far Toby goes to protect her and is left even more concerned after hearing him say “I didn’t mean to kill her” whilst he was sleeping.

She decides to ask him about it, but how will Toby react when he realises he’s speaking about murdering his cousin Lisa Loveday in his sleep?

Elsewhere in the village, Trish Minniver (Denise Welch) is heartbroken when she sees Brad King (Tom Knight) make a move on her daughter Maxine (Nikki Sanderson), unaware that her boyfriend is dealing with a difficult ultimatum given to him by dodgy Fergus Collins (Robert Beck).

Also, Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) is heartbroken over his fractured relationship with his son Ollie (Gabriel Clark), as he is nowhere to be seen on his 18th birthday.

When Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) tries to reach out to Luke, he takes his anger out on her and demands that she moves out.

Luke discovers that Ollie hasn’t been living with Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) for the past few weeks.

He manages to track Ollie down in a disused garden centre where he’s been sleeping rough and offers to stay with him until he trusts himself enough to go home.

Later in the week, Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) worries that Luke’s dementia is getting worse and she urges him to speak to a consultant.

In a surprise turn of events, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) asks love rival Summer Ranger (Rhiannon Clements) to be her running buddy, leaving everyone confused about what she’s up to.

Will Sienna finally discover the truth and expose Summer after she finds her diary?

Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) fears Sienna has become obsessed with Summer.

Her fears come true as Sienna is secretly plotting to win Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) back.

Sienna breaks into Summer’s flat in the hopes of finding some evidence to prove that she’s not as sweet as everyone thinks she is.

She gets her hands on Summer’s incriminating diary, which contains her secret revenge plan against Brody.
