Beverly Callard has showed off her massive new tattoo after getting it inked on her leg – and she seemed delighted with her new look.
The former I’m A Celeb star shot to fame on Coronation Street as Liz McDonald, and she entered Gwrych Castle for the ITV reality show last year – the first time it had to ditch the Australian jungle for the North Wales set.
The 64-year-old soap star is clearly not afraid to get inked up either, and she revealed her dazzling new leg piece to her followers on Instagram.
Bev took to her Instagram Story to share a snap of the gorgeous piece, which has blue and pink magnolia flowers covering her foot and spreading across her right shin and up to her knee.
Bev was quick to promote her tattoo artist in the snap, which suggests she’s rather pleased with the results.
Thanking her artist, she wrote: “Thank you for my tattoo!” as she attached love-heart emojis.
Beverley certainly doesn’t shy away from tattoos either, because she got her first piece when she was 59-years-old.
The tattoo was a sweet tribute to her husband Jon McEwan, and it has theatrical tragedy and comedy masks on top of a music score, next to a large red love heart.
Inside the heart, you can see Bev and Jon’s names etched alongside the date 30-10-10 – their wedding anniversary.
It comes after Bev admitted that she was “extremely jealous” of this year’s campmates as they shack up in the medieval-style castle.
When asked if she would go back into the castle, Beverley told ITV’s Lorraine Kelly she was “50/50.”
Speaking about the trials, she said: “I loathed it, I absolutely dreaded it being me and so that side of it I hated. And I hated the cold, really the bedroom was -1 degree. It was horrific.”
Despite this, Beverly said she and her fellow campmates had all been reminiscing about their time on the show.
She added: “We’ve all been talking, the twelve of us from last year, and saying we are extremely jealous of anybody who is going in.”
