Kristen Stewart’s relationships have often been at the front of public attention since she first dated Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson 13 years ago.
However, her first Hollywood romance began when she was 14 while filming 2005 film Fierce People alongside the late actor Anton Yelchin.
Kristen shared her memories of him in the 2015 documentary Love, Antosha, after he died in an accident at his home in 2016.
She explained that she admired him, saying: “He kind of broke my heart,”.
“I was so baffled by how good he was, and then I couldn’t be around him.”
She added that there were no hard feelings between the two after their break up, saying “Literally, we were tiny children.”
However, the romance that set Hollywood alight was straight out of the pages of a novel after she met Robert Pattinson on the set of Twilight in 2008.
Playing teenager Bella and vampire Edward, their onscreen chemistry translated off-screen, and they dated for over five years.
It is reported that she and Robert finally got together on the set of Twilight: New Moon in 2009, following her break up with fellow actor Michael Angarano.
Fans went wild for the couple, with Robert telling the Daily Mail: “When we’re together, we understand each very well.
“We know what each other is thinking and we have been very close for a long time. Kristen is a wonderful girl.”
During a recent interview with DJ Howard Stern, Kristen also revealed that she would have married Robert, adding that the actor is “the best,” and that he was her first love.
However, the couple briefly split up after Kristen was pictured kissing Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders in 2012, after starring in the film as the main character.
She issued a public apology to Robert at the time, saying: “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob.
“I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
After issuing the statement, Kristen and Robert got back together, but then permanently split in 2013.
Director Rupert Sanders, who has two children with ex-wife and model Liberty Ross, also said he was ‘utterly distraught’ about the affect his picture kiss had on his own family, with him and wife Liberty divorcing in 2014.
Like Kristen, he publicly apologised, with Rupert later addressing the affair in an interview with Metro.
He said: “Everyone makes mistakes.”
“I am bound to make more mistakes, and I wouldn’t expect my life to be exciting if I didn’t … If you took people off the table for a momentary lapse, there would be no one making art.”
Since splitting with Robert Pattinson, Kristen has been in relationships with singer St Vincent and supermodel Stella Maxwell.
Stella, who has modelled for brands including Victoria’s Secret, dated Kristen for two years from 2017.
However, after Kristen split with Stella Maxwell, she was spotted kissing screenwriter Dylan Meyer in 2019, who has worked on tv series including Miss 2059 and film Rock Bottom.
Although romance rumours first started in 2019, the couple actually met in 2013, with Kristen telling radio DJ Howard Stern that the two had met on the set of a film, before meeting again at a party.
Kristen said: “I was like, ‘Where have you been, and how have I not known you?”
The happy couple are now engaged, with Kristen Stewart previously saying she couldn’t wait to propose to Dylan.
