Jeremy Clarkson gives Top Gear pals lifetime ban from stint on Clarkson’s Farm

Fans of Jeremy Clarkson’s surprise hit show Clarkson’s Farm will be happy to hear that familiar faces will be returning to the farm.

However, two famous friends of the star host, Jeremy, have been banned for life from ever appearing on the series.

The new series has won the TV star, 61, some new fans as well as welcomed his old fans as it has followed him struggling to work on his new farm in Oxfordshire.

His battles so far have seen him fighting weather to complete the construction of a farm shop building, raising sheep, and learning conservation methods to improve the environment as well as many other agricultural lessons.

The farm based reality TV series has exceeded expectations

The reality show has been such a surprise hit for Amazon Prime they have renewed it for a second series.

The familiar faces returning to the farm alongside Jeremy are his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, construction worker Gerald Cooper, land agent Charlie “Cheerful Charlie” Ireland, and farm hand Kaleb Cooper.

The former Top Gear presenter tweeted to confirm the good news: “All the team are back – Cheerful Charlie, Lisa, Gerald, and the foetus in a tractor [Kaleb].”

One fan cheekily enquired if Jeremy’s The Grand Tour and ex-Top Gear co-hosts Richard Hammond or James May would ever star on the farming series.

The TV host bluntly replied: “Not in a million years… It’s not that kind of show.”

Following the opening of the presenter’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, some locals have objected to an increase in traffic in the Cotswolds, sparking complaints.

Locals also expressed concerns that local businesses could struggle if they are to compete against Jeremy’s business, as one said: “We are very lucky in this village to have three shops and a pub but I do fear for how they will cope.

“Our village shop was saved by residents who turned it into a co-operative but he will certainly affect their trade.”

“Also the pub, he’s got an alcohol licence now and he’s selling beers out of a shipping container.”

“I know of one man who queued for two hours and ten minutes for a bag of truffle oil chips. Ridiculous.”
