Katie Price has revealed that she has begun the gruelling process of IVF treatment in a last ditch attempt to have a “miracle” sixth baby.
The 42-year-old former glamour model has been candid in the past about wanting a baby with her new fiancé, Carl Woods.
Speaking to The Sun, Katie announced that she wanted to call the baby Miracle and was desperate to have the baby before mum Amy, loses her battle against terminal lung disease, saying it would break her heart if her mum didn’t get to see her pregnant.
Katie revealed that her and Carl have never used protection while sleeping together, as they “knew they’d be together for ever” but that after six months of trying Katie is still unable to get pregnant.
She opened up on the process of trying, saying the pair had used ovulating apps, and having plenty of sex but that nothing was working.
She added that it was “frustrating” to know that her age was a factor and that they had given up on doing pregnancy tests because the results were too “disheartening”.
Despite being bankrupt, Katie says she does not care how expensive the treatment is and she will pay “whatever it costs”.

They are now a week into IVF and are having tests to see how viable the chances of getting pregnant are.
Katie stated determinately: ”There’s obviously a reason why we’re not getting pregnant. Whatever happens, we’re having a baby this year.”
She added: “I know people who have had IVF and given up but I feel mentally prepared. I know it’s hard but we’re a team and we’ll get through it together.”
She went on to say that her five other children – Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six – are excited for another sibling, but she hasn’t told Harvey yet.
She said: “I haven’t spoken to Harvey as he won’t understand. My sister Sophie is due to give birth soon and he kisses her belly and says, ‘Aw, a baby, congratulations’, and mimics a baby crying.
“Carl’s desperate for a baby, too. It’s only right he has his own kids as he’s so good with mine.”
