Katie Price has vowed to hit back at online trolls to prevent her disabled son Harvey from being subjected to cruel online abuse.

Harvey admitted how people are “horrible” to him in a heartbreaking video which his mum shared on Instagram.

And former glamour model turned TV celebrity Katie is pushing hard for her fans to sign a new anti-trolling petition so that Harvey

Speaking to her 2.5million Instagram followers, Katie asked her son in a story: “Do you want people to sign mummy’s petition?”, to which Harvey replies, “Yes, Track A Troll.”

Harvey continues: “People who are horrible to me. My mum will tell off the horrible people who say mean things.”

“Exactly, and then the police will tell them off, won’t they? Because they mustn’t be horrible,” Katie insisted.

Nearly 136,000 people had signed the petition at the time of publishing our story.

And Katie hopes that figure swells even more as she does everything she can to protect her vulnerable son, who has been subjected to horrible online abuse for years.

The petition is titled: “Make verified ID a requirement for opening a social media account.

And its objective reads: “Make it a legal requirement when opening a new social media account, to provide a verified form of ID.

“Where the account belongs to a person under the age of 18 verify the account with the ID of a parent/guardian, to prevent anonymised harmful activity, providing traceability if an offence occurs.”

Harvey, Katie’s eldest son, suffers from the genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome.

But having recently turned 18, he has moved out of the family home and now lives independently close by to his mum.

Katie has been credited with helping Harvey lose weight after he ballooned to a staggering 29 stone as a result of his condition.

She admitted that because of Harvey’s condition he would be “quite disruptive in the night because he goes in the cupboards and eats the food”.

Katie decided to get rid of temptation to help encourage a healthier lifestyle so Harvey “can’t have a snack in the night because there’s nothing there for him to snack on!”
