Katie Price's son Harvey smashes car window after reacting badly to hiccups

Katie Price took to Instagram to showcase to fans the aftermath of one of her son Harvey ‘s outbursts.

The 42-year-old former glamour model, explained that her eldest child had smashed the window as a result of “hiccups”.

Showing the shattered plastic on the floor that appeared to have once surrounded the glass, the mum-of-five said: “This is because of hiccups.”

The camera flashed to Harvey who was sat in the back of the damaged vehicle completely engrossed by his iPad.

She then asks her son: “Why did you smash the window Harv? Look what you’ve done to the window.”

To which Harvey chirped back: “That’s f***ing naughty, isn’t it? Bad.”

Sharing the footage to Instagram an unimpressed Katie captioned: “Welcome to my bank holiday Monday. A normal day off Harvey’s reaction to hiccups.”

Harvey suffers from a number of complex issues including; autism, ­Prader-Willi Syndrome and septo-optic dysplasia which causes blindness and requires round-the-clock care.

Sympathetic social media followers flocked to the post to chime praise for Katie’s ability to stay so calm.

“Oh you keep so calm. Incredible mum xx,” explained one fan.

Another penned: “Awwww bless him. People don’t understand do they how the simplest of things can set of triggers. Hope your okay xx.”

Due to Harvey’s learning difficulties, he can often lash out unexpectedly when he finds himself distressed.

Katie has been left with no choice but to source residential care for her son so that he can have some independence as he enters adulthood.

The pair recently appeared in their own BBC documentary which saw Katie and Harvey on the hunt for a new college to provide specialist support.

Knowing her son well, Katie told staff to be cautious when it came to loud noises coming from closing doors.

However during one visit a door slammed suddenly and the teen became immediately stressed and began to thump his head on the wall as the reality star tried to soothe him.

Needless to say the visit was cut short and the college didn’t make it onto their short list either.
