Kelly Osbourne unrecognisable in purple hair transformation after 'relapse'

Reality star Kelly Osbourne looked completely unrecognisable on Wednesday, after she shared a picture on her Instagram that showed off her amazing new hair and bold new colour.

The star, who is never afraid to try out a daring new look, did exactly that as she fronted long purple locks.

While sitting in a makeup chair, Kelly, 36, sported her gorgeous wavy hair that appeared a lot longer than her usual short, choppy length.

The star glowed in the pic, as she stared seductively down the lens of the camera.

One fan penned: “I want this hair.”

While another commented: “Stunning, I adore this hair.”

A third fan chimed: “Holy Christ you look so absolutely stunning!”

On Monday, Kelly shared her personal woes with fans as she revealed she had relapsed and fallen back into addiction after she had remained sober for four years.

Taking to Instagram, the masked singer said: “This is a little hard for me to talk about but I’ve always promised you I will be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on on my road to recovery.

“I relapsed, not proud of it but I’m back on track and I will be doing a podcast this week where I tell everybody about what’s going on and what happened.”

Kelly explained that she is now “back on track” and is trying her best to stay clean once again.

She continued: “I just want to let you know that I’m sober today and I’m going to be sober tomorrow.

“But I’ve truly learned that it is just one day at a time and I wanted to tell you guys the truth cause I never ever want to lie to you.

“Thank you so much for your support and love and you’ll be hearing from me soon.”

In 2020, the Osbourne daughter spoke openly about her addictions on DJ Fat Tony’s podcast, The Recovery.

Kelly explained that prior to her four years of sobriety, she was only able to spend 30 days sober.

The star explained: “I’ve only ever had about 30 days of clean time, which is when I was in treatment, then I would come out and get high again.

“But I lied about it. I used to steal 60-day AA chips and give them to my mum so she would take me out for dinner.

“I never thought I’d be alive at 35 years old. A lot of my friends didn’t make it and burying them was hard. I had survivor’s guilt for a long time. I’m almost three years sober.”

Kelly admitted that she was often in a “haze of hangovers and withdrawals” when she was not sober.

Though she first became addicted to drugs and alcohol as a teenager, Kelly decided to get her life back together in 2017.

The TV personality even decided to change her look and underwent a gastric sleeve operation.
