Louise Redknapp is reportedly ‘finally moving on’ after her split from ex-husband Jamie, in light of his baby news.
The singer and dancer has apparently been given the push she needed to let go and move on.
She previously sang in Eternal, and appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and The Masked Dancer.
Now the 46-year-old wants to focus on her own life and career, after it was revealed ex-husband Jamie, 47, is having a baby.
He has been dating Swedish model Frida Andersson-Lourie for 18 months, and now they are expecting their first child together.
Louise and Jamie’s marriage broke down in 2017 and they share two sons together.
A source close to the star told New Magazine: “Louise was stunned by the news that Jamie was expecting a baby, and it did hurt her. But it was the push she needed to move on and that’s exactly what she intends to do.”
They added: “She’s been making her career a number one priority again. She wants people to know her as Louise the performer, not Jamie’s ex-wife.”
The news was apparently a shock to the star who has been keeping busy appearing as Flamingo on The Masked Dancer, an opportunity said to have given her “a new lease of life”.
“She has so much going on right now that excites her. The Masked Dancer gave her a new lease of life. And she can’t wait to be back on the stage again. She loves performing in front of a crowd, she wants to focus on the positives,” the source said.
It’s thought that Louise is still getting her head around Jamie and Frida’s baby news, but she hasn’t given up on finding love again for herself.
The insider says: “Louise doesn’t want to go looking for love as she thinks you never find it that way. She believes it will happen when she least expects it, and everything will fall into place.”

Louise previously revealed in her bombshell book that she regretted ending her 19-year marriage to Jamie.
She penned in the book: “I wish I had tried.
“I want to say to anyone thinking of running – just slow down. Don’t run.”
Called You’ve Got This, Louise also wrote about Strictly: “If I’d done the show four years earlier, this wouldn’t have happened. I wouldn’t have walked away from my marriage.”
She added that taking part “simply wasn’t worth putting anyone I loved or love through the heartache”.
