Love Island 2021 contestant Jake Cornish once messaged Billie Faiers

Love island contestant Jake Cornish will be making his way to the Love Island villa this year, but the lad previously messaged TOWIE legend Billie Faiers.

The 24-year-old seems to have an eye for blondes and described reality star Billie as his “dream woman”.

Discussing his type and divulging his secret message to Billie, Jake confessed: “My ideal woman is Billie Faiers. She is my dream woman. I think for a laugh once with the boys, I messaged her.

“I can’t remember what I messaged her. She’s a lady, she’s just lush.”

When asked why he wanted to join this year’s series, Jake talked about his previous relationship: “I was in a relationship for seven years and then when lockdown hit, I was single. The opportunity is there, you might as well take it by the horns and go for it.”

The young hunk also revealed what he looks for in a romantic partner.

Jake said: “Looks wise, always gone for blondes. But for me, the main thing is having respect and having good fun, and someone who will be loyal to you.”

The Love Island contestant admitted that loyalty means a lot to him as he doesn’t “trust anyone”.

Jake also confessed that he had previously been messaged by married women so trust is understandably very important to him.

On Monday, Love Island’s official Instagram confirmed the contestants that will be making their way to the villa.

Other contestants that have been confirmed so far is Scottish lass Shannon Singh, blonde beauty Liberty Poole and events host Aaron Francis to name a few.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Love Island was placed on hiatus but TV bosses are determined to make this year’s series the “biggest in show history”.

To ensure the programme runs smoothly this year, producers are making sure they have more contestants just in case of any potential illnesses amongst candidates.

Talking to Daily Star, a source previously explained: “It is likely they will need to quarantine all contestants.

“They also think they’ll need to fly over three times as many contestants than normal in case some of them fall ill.”
