Hugo Hammond, Amy Day, Clarisse Juliette and Sam Jackson were all savagely dumped from the villa after a dramatic dumping earlier this week.
On Wednesday, islanders were summoned to the fire pit where they discovered that four of them were about to leave the villa with immediate effect.
After contestants realised that three couples received the lowest votes, islanders who were saved by the viewers had to chose one girl and one boy to stay.
The ladies had the horrible task of selecting the boy they wanted to keep, while the boys had to choose one of the girls.
After deliberating for a number of minutes, the boys decided to keep Sam’s partner Mary Bedford and the girls chose Clarisse’s partner Tyler Cruickshank to stay.
Love Island continues Monday night on ITV2 and ITVHub at 9pm
