Love Island host Laura Whitmore returns to the ITV2 dating show during Sunday night’s episode with some “important news.”
Jake Cornish gets a text revealing the group are all heading out of the villa for some fun at a Spanish beach club.
The message reads: “Islanders, It’s time to get up and go as you’ll be spending the day at the Island Vibes Club. Please get ready to leave the villa. #outout #notaladsholiday”
As they get dressed up and enjoy a day at the Island Vibes Club, Millie Court and Liam Reardon take the opportunity to put a label on their relationship.
Welshman Liam asks: “Are we exclusive? I don’t want to put pressure on you.”
Millie replies: “That would give me some confidence, once you’ve said we’re exclusive, that’s it then, you’ve confirmed your word, you can’t go back on that.”
He said: “Yeah. I’m more than happy to be exclusive with you. Yeah, I’m serious, it’s the truth.”
Millie affirms: “So we’re not boyfriend and girlfriend but we’re exclusive. I’m happy to do that.”
Elsewhere, Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows celebrate their rekindled relationship.
Semi-professional footballer Toby says: “I did what I did and then I realised, Chloe’s potentially the one.”
Chloe laughs: “You know I’m the one.”
Toby says: “That’s when I thought, you know what, let’s see if we can salvage this. And right now, I think we’re in a better place completely.”
She says: “We’re in the best place, I’m really happy!”
However, the party isn’t over yet – as the Islanders are surprised by the sudden arrival of host Laura.
The presenter says: “Well guys, I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’m here? I’ve got some very important news.”
So what’s Laura’s news and what could it mean for the Islanders?
Elsewhere in the episode, Jake and girlfriend Liberty Poole clear the air.
Speaking in the Beach Hut she says: |I thought, nah, you know what, I’m going to put my feelings first and I’m not going to pretend like everything’s OK with Jake when I still feel hurt.
“This was a hurtful comment, you need to understand how I’m feeling.”
Pulling Jake for a chat Liberty says: “That clip last night, not going to lie, it did really hurt me. Does my boyfriend rate me, do you know what I mean?”
Jake says: “Yeah, look, I’m sorry I said that. I can’t go back on it.”
Liberty adds: “My heart sunk when I saw the comment.”
He replies: “I did want the ground to swallow me up when I saw that and I looked over and you were looking down. I felt f***ing awful.”
Liberty says: “The way I’m feeling is valid.”
Jake adds” “When you’re walking around I’m thinking, ‘F*** me, rip her clothes off’. That’s what I do. I’d be worried if I didn’t. I can’t keep my hands off you.”
Liberty says: “I want to squish it here and now and articulate how I felt. And that is how I felt; I felt s***, I felt hurt, I thought that was a d***head comment.”
