Love Island's Hugo says he was Amy's 'green card to villa’ after furious clash

Love Island’sHugo Hammond accused Amy of using him as a “green card into the villa” after reuniting on ITV2’s Love Island: Aftersun.

The pair hit it off in Casa Amor and quickly locked lips, seemingly going from strength to strength with Hugo picking Amy to recouple with.

However, their relationship soon hit rocky ground when they returned to the main villa as a couple.

Hugo, 24, accused Amy of changing, while she felt he was keeping his distance.

They were then dumped from the Island after receiving the fewest votes from the public, alongside co-stars Clarisse Juliette and Sam Jackson.

However, during their exit interviews, Hugo branded his quest to find love in the villa as “tragic” causing Amy to look shocked, and he friend-zoned her.

She later blasted him as “fake” and claimed she’d been “messed around” by the PE teacher.

The pair reunited on Aftersun, where Amy did not mince her words and slammed Hugo as “terrible with women”.

“I think Hugo is terrible with women, I just don’t think he knows what to say,” Amy insisted after recalling he had infamously quipped “job done!” following their kiss in Casa Amor.

“To sum it up, Hugo says he wants to be true to himself. Can he not be true to everyone at the same time?” Amy then went on.

Laura gave Hugo an opportunity to respond to Amy’s comments and he replied: “Umm, I don’t really know if I can you know, it makes me really sad that it’s kind of got to this point and you feel this way.

“You know I don’t agree with a lot of the stuff you’re saying obviously but if that’s the way you feel, that’s the way you feel…”

When asked what her biggest regret on the show was, Amy then answered that it was putting all of her eggs in Hugo’s basket.

Unable to hold his tongue any longer, Hugo hit back and pointed out that Amy had shared a bed with Tyler on the first night in Casa Amor and claimed she “wasn’t into me from night one and I just felt like a green card to the villa”.
