Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star DB Woodside has warned the Royal Family they have “messed with the wrong woman”.
The US actor, who played the character Jeff Malone in the hit Netflix show, has also called for the Monarchy to apologise to Meghan after she claimed she was offered no support despite having suicidal thoughts.
“Listen, the thing about her [Meghan] is she is strong and she is resilient,” stressed Mr Woodside speaking on Entertainment Tonight.
“If they think that this kind of stuff is going to knock her off her game for very long, they picked the wrong woman to mess with.
“She is the wrong woman to mess with, they need to back up.
“[They need to] back off and apologise because she is not the one. She is not the one.”
Mr Woodside, 51, praised his former colleague for speaking out against the Royal Family in a bombshell two-hour interview with US chat show queen Oprah Winfrey, which aired on ITV in the UK.
During the interview Meghan admitted she suffered from suicidal thoughts and had “thought it would have solved everything for everyone” and admitted that if she didn’t speak out she would have felt “ashamed”.
In another incredible revelation, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry also claimed that one member of the Royal Family had enquired how dark their son Archie’s skin would be before he was born.
Harry also claimed that he had been cut off financially from his family and his dad, Prince Charles, had stopped taking his calls for a while.

Meanwhile, it has emerged The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be preparing for their second child to arrive at their $14.5m (£10.6m) Californian mansion.
Meghan is due to give birth to the couple’s daughter this summer – and it is understood the luxury abode is their preferred choice of birthplace.
The couple planned to have their first child, Archie, at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor Castle’s Home Park in Berkshire.
But owing to a complication Meghan was rushed to a private hospital in London in May 2019 and Archie was born there.
A source said: “She has a beautiful home in California, it’s a beautiful setting to give birth to her baby girl.”
Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, announced that they were having a girl in their explosive interview with Oprah.
