Ola Jordan says she 'doesn't know if she can have more kids' after IVF battle

Professional dancers Ola Jordan and James Jordan fought to have their now one-year-old baby Ella for three years.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, 38, gave birth to her precious tot last February.

But while the couple are overjoyed with their beloved family, Ola has admitted she “would love more” children if she could.

Ola and James had Ella via IVF, which can be an expensive and difficult procedure for prospective parents.

Ola Jordan says its a difficult and sad time on her first Mother’s Day with baby Ella after James hero dad dies

But just as the reality TV stars were celebrating their miracle baby turning one, Dancing On Ice winner James’s dad died of a brain tumour.

In a new interview only hours after the family’s loss, Ola shared: “Family is the most important thing. When you see your parents get very ill, it makes you look at your own life.

“We have a baby to think about now, to make sure our baby is OK.”

“We would love to have more children,” the star continued to The Sun. “But unfortunately this is not the right time for us.”

Ola Jordan said she is very fortunate to have her family

Ola added the couple are not sure their efforts would ever even work again as they were “very lucky” to get pregnant with their first IVF treatment.

Often, many parents end up going two or three rounds before a pregnancy is successful.

But despite their worries about whether Ella will ever have a brother or sister, the dancer insisted right now it’s not at the forefront of their minds.

She told the publication that James’s dad’s death was a reminder of how “very fortunate” they were as a family.

James Jordan has been grieving over the death of his beloved dad

It’s also been a difficult 12 months for the Polish star, who has been separated from her parents while raising her Ella through UK lockdowns since the coronavirus pandemic.

Ola said her beloved husband is really struggling because he and his dad were really close, but she is doing her best to be “strong” for him.

“All I can do is be a shoulder to cry on right now. It’s a very difficult and sad time,” Ola added.
