Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen has opened up about the “rough times” he faced at Ravenseat during the bad weather recently.
The 17-year-old lad is known for appearing on the Channel 5 show alongside his mum Amanda, dad Clive and his eight siblings.
He is not scared to get get stuck in and is often seen offering help around the farm.
Reuben recently appeared on Winter on the Farm to discuss the dreadful weather and how it impacted his life on the famous farm.
The teenager spoke to Jules Hudson and Helen Skelton at Cannon Hall Farm for the final episode of the Channel 5 series.
He told the hosts that the farm didn’t manage to escape the winds of Storm Arwen and Storm Barra.
Reuben helped out guests in need of a new shed and shared that there have been some “rough times” at Ravenseat.
After watching the pre-recorded segment of Reuben helping out a Winter on the Farm, Jules went on to praise the youngster and said: “Well done, mate. Great work.”
The presenter then asked: “But Ravenseat, you must see some fair-weather up there?”
Reuben replied: “Yeah, we’ve had quite a bad time for weather at the moment.
“We’ve been hit by a lot of snow and ice. So it’s been quite rough for the past few weeks up there.”
“Yeah, I bet,” Jules replied before his co-host Helen quickly brought up a unique way Reuben has been trying to combat the conditions.
The blonde TV personality said: “But you are the kind of man who sees a problem and finds a solution. And you’ve had quite an alternative method of transport recently.”
Reuben responded: “Yeah, recently I got myself a snowmobile so…”
Jules added: “We’ve got some shots of it there,” as they proceeded to show a clip of him in action shooting across snowy fields.

It comes as mum Amanda has warned her children to prepare for “challenging times” ahead.
Earlier this week, the Yorkshire Shepherdess told Times Radio: “I think they should all head out and go and see the wider world,” explained the mother-of-nine.
“Then, quite a few of them I think will come back,” Amanda added, as she likened her children to a “boomerang”.
“For me, if I were going to give them any lesson in life, I would tell them not to put all of their eggs in one basket.
“To have your finger in a lot of pies is a good thing because times are changing and people’s thoughts are changing.”
