Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has taken a swipe at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once again in a new TV interview.
Appearing on 60 Minutes Australia, Piers has launched a new attack on Meghan and Harry, accusing them of telling “downright lies”.
In a new trailer, Piers can seen seen saying: “Who are these ‘woke’ people?
“Marching around like they’re Kim Jong-un with a dash of Vladimir Putin.”
He also opened fire at Meghan and Harry about their Oprah interview in March once again, as he continued: “There were downright lies, that would make the Archbishop of Canterbury a criminal.”
Piers added: “Meghan Markle had personally complained to the boss of my company.
“Freedom of speech is more important than actually the Meghan Markle debacle.”
The dramatic clip for the fiery interview was captioned: “He duked it out with the duchess and famously got fired.
“Now, Piers Morgan is back and taking his fight straight to the palace.
“SUNDAY on 60Mins, why the king of controversy refuses to be cancelled.”
Meanwhile, Piers has also dropped a huge hint that he is ready to return to Good Morning Britain after his dramatic exit back in March.
Piers left the show after refusing to apologise for his comments that he didn’t believe Meghan’s claims that she had been suicidal and a members of the royal family made a comment about the colour of Archie’s skin.
After his rant about Meghan, GMB was hit with a whopping 41,000 Ofcom complaints, and after Piers stormed off the set following a debate with weather presenter Alex Beresford, his exit was announced.
He has since been replaced by a number of guest hosts, including Alastair Campbell, Bill Turnbull and Adil Ray, but bosses have yet to choose a permanent replacement.
But as GMB ratings have been reported to have dropped to just 450,000, Piers has hinted he’s ready to come back, as he quoted a headline of the figures and asked: “Jeez. Should I set my alarm for 4.45am again?”
GMB airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
