Prince Harry spotted filming mystery show with James Corden in LA

Prince Harry has been at the centre of a number of reports claiming he’s “unhappy” in America at the moment, where he now resides with his wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie.

But the royal showed a completely different outlook when he was pictured filming an unidentified mystery project with his old pal James Corden, who also attended his wedding back in 2018.

The duo looked relaxed and appeared to be having a joke and a laugh as they rode along on an open-top red bus alongside a film crew through the City of Angels.

James is the host of popular late-night talk show The Late Late Show With James Corden on CBS, so it could be that the pair were filming a segment for an upcoming instalment.

Perhaps the friends are even doing a documentary about Harry’s life since he moved to California.

Whatever the project, the cheeky Brits seemed to be having a whale of a time chatting away in the west coast sunshine.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, with his arm casually draped over the next seat to him, the Prince spoke to James across the aisle, as it appeared they were socially distancing.

It comes as Harry and Meghan await the Queen’s decision over how to proceed with their exit as senior members of the royal family next month.

When the couple made the unexpected announcement they wanted to “balance” their time between the UK and North America and step down from their senior royal duties, the Queen and the other close members of the family formed a plan for the first year.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has meant that the Duke and Duchess have been unable to travel back and forth to the UK at all, instead taking part in a number of initiatives over Zoom and online.

The couple have also made a number of moves in their professional lives which are said to have frustrated the royal family – such as signing a multi-million dollar with streaming giant Netflix and launching their own Podcast on Spotify.

What’s more, the Duke has recently faced intense criticism over his determination to retain his military titles – which the Queen will review in March – with even Piers Morgan penning an essay declaring that he shouldn’t be allowed to hold onto them and live in America.

The Good Morning Britain presenter claimed Prince Harry wants to hold on to his titles because it gives him his “earning power” in the US, and said he “can’t be an absentee armchair general from 5000 miles away in Santa Barbara”.

Despite the furore, Harry and Meghan are gearing up for a truly incredible roster of entertainment with Netflix, as the platform revealed they signed a multi-year deal that will feature documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming.

It comes as sources claimed the royal family were angry at Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision to join a platform that allowed numerous controversial scenes to remain in season four of The Crown – the instalment which focused on Princess Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles.
