Richard Madeley, who chaired the panel of Loose Men, also celebrated his birthday yesterday.
While chatting about male body confidence, the TV presenter revealed his age – and no one could believe it as he looks so good.
Richard turned 65 yesterday, 13 May.
The panel, consisting of Martin Kemp, Jordan Banjo and Robert Rinder, promptly voiced their disbelief – as did viewers.
One watcher tweeted: “Happy birthday Richard Madeley! Can’t believe he’s 65 today! He’s looking good on it & in a completely natural way.”
Another added: “Loose Men”, claiming that his grey hair is now actually getting naturally blonder and less grey with age, is the most Richard Madeley thing ever.
One viewer wrote: “If I look like Richard when I’m 65, then I’ll be a lucky man.”
A second equally shocked viewer said: “65?! I genuinely thought the man was in his early 50’s. Madness.
Richard, who is one half of the legendary presenting duo Richard and Judy, also touched on being mocked previously for seeming to slowly turn more orange.
He revealed that he “accidentally” used his daughter’s fake tan one night in the dark, leaving him tangoed for work the next day.
Meanwhile, the show was also praised for highlighting male mental health issues including body confidence, bullying and relationships.
Loose Men, a spin-off of Loose Women, coincided with Mental Health Awareness Week.
Viewers called for it to become a regular fixture on ITV.
One viewer tweeted: “I love how open and honest #LooseMen are on tackling issues such as suicide and bullying. It’s refreshing to see men speaking about their feelings in an honest and frank way.”
To add a bit of light relief to proceedings the lads also discussed whether or not flirting should be classed as cheating and what they thought of the current trend of men wearing women’s clothes – like Harry Styles.
Jordan, 28, said when it comes to flirting he would never say anything to a woman he wouldn’t say in front of his fiance while Rinder, 42, said finding other people attractive if you’re in a relationship is fine as it’s “not a thought crime”.
When discussing daring fashion choices, Martin, 59, recalled his wild Spandau Ballet days when he “dressed to shock” and that it was misinformed to call Harry Styles “courageous” as it had all been done before.
