Rylan Clark-Neal has sent the rumour mill swirling after he shared a cryptic post about people taking advantage of his kindness.
The 32-year-old took to his Instagram Stories to share the mysterious quote with his 1.4 million followers on Wednesday.
It read: “What’s wrong with being too nice? People will always try to take advantage of it until you aren’t nice at all.”
While he didn’t explain what his post was referring to, it comes after he split with husband Dan Neal in June.
Rylan has only just returned to social media after a five-month break following the breakdown of his marriage.
Last week, he took to Twitter to jokingly quip: “So… what did I miss?”
Rylan and police officer Dan started dating back in 2013 after they met on the set of Big Brother when Dan was a contestant and Rylan presented the spin-off show Bit On The Side.
They got engaged in Paris the following year and finally tied the knot in 2015.
But in June, the couple announced that they had decided to go their separate ways.
Rylan admitted blame for the split telling The Sun: “I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage.”
He continued: “I have taken time away from work as I am not in a good place at the moment and am seeking help.
“I am trying to take each day at a time and would like to thank you to everyone for their support and for respecting our privacy at this time.”
It comes as Rylan prepare to host Strictly Come Dancing’s It Takes Two alongside Janette Manrara.
The former X-Factor star shared a pic of the pair to Instagram, with the caption: “Introducing the new tele wife….. we will see you next Monday @jmanrara @bbcstrictly”.
The duo will be co-hosting the show at 6.30pm on Monday to Thursdays, and at 6pm on Fridays.
