Susanna Reid certainly knows how to hold her own – much like her co-star Piers Morgan.
And the Good Morning Britain presenter was quick to rush to her and Piers’ defence when she responded to a troll who attacked them with heavy sarcasm.
The troll came for Susanna on Twitter as the online bully responded to a tweet regarding herself and Piers.
They tweeted back: “Two of you at everything that’s wrong in the country. Pair of c***s.”
Referring to the starred-out curse word, Susanna cleverly turned it into a guessing game, pretending she didn’t know which word they had implied.

Susanna wittily replied: “Oooh this is a fun game. Clocks? Chairs?”
Her sarcastic reply gained an outpouring of attention from her fans who applauded the bombshell.
One tweeted back in delight: “You and Piers are terrific on GMB…Your the only presenters that hold the government to account….Piers has a lot to say for himself but has done himself proud during the Pandemic…You have always been a top presenter….Don’t know why people are so rude…well done both…”

Another responded: “Well said Susanna some people are pathetic keyboard warrior. just ignore that tweet you’re look better then that lovely Susanna Reid.”
“Good on you, Susanna!” chimed another fan.
The star has previously said she has a “thick skin” and is used to the trolling but sometimes doubts herself before picking herself up again.

Susanna has been presenting the ITV breakfast news show since 2014 alongside the controversial Piers.
The star also hosts alongside Ben Shephard on a Thursday as well as bringing up her three children during the lockdown.
It comes as Susanna and Piers took a break from GMB last week to enjoy half-term with their families.
For the week, they were replaced by fan favourites Ben and Kate Garraway.
Confirming the swap the week prior, Kate said: “Ben and I are back at six on Monday.”
Piers and Susanna are known to front the show from Monday to Wednesday, though they occasionally take time off for annual leave.
Good Morning Britain continues on Monday at 6am on ITV.
